2. General information on data processing

We process data as part of our business operations and the operation of our website. If we transfer data outside the EU or the EEA, we have marked this accordingly. When you use our contact form, your data is transferred to the third-party provider Web3Forms. This may involve the transfer of data to a third country (USA). Web3Forms ensures compliance with the GDPR through appropriate contractual measures.

3. Data processing

The data concerned, the purposes of processing, the legal bases, the recipients and any transfers to third countries are listed in detail below:

a) Log file when visiting the website:
We log your website visit. In doing so, we process:

  • Name(s) of the website(s) accessed by us
  • Date and time of retrieval
  • the amount of data transferred
  • Browser type and version
  • the operating system you are using
  • the referrer URL (the previously visited page)
  • Your IP address
  • the requesting provider

The legal basis for data processing is our overriding legitimate interest in the continuous provision and security of our website in accordance with Art. 6 (1) f) GDPR. The log file is deleted after seven days, unless it is required to prove or clarify specific legal violations that have become known within the retention period.

b) Server location and encryption:
Our website is operated on servers of the company IONOS Deutschland GmbH, which are located in Germany. This means that your data is subject to the strict data protection regulations of the European Union.
At present, access is not yet exclusively encrypted, but we will switch to the HTTPS protocol in the near future in order to protect your data in the best possible way.

c) Contact us for more information:
If you contact us via the contact form on our website, we will process the data you provide (name, e-mail address, subject and message) in order to respond to your request. We use the following service provider to send the form Web3Forms (operated by Web3Forms, USA). The data you enter will be transmitted in encrypted form and forwarded to us once by e-mail. There is no permanent storage by Web3Forms. This is a data transfer to a third country (USA). Web3Forms ensures compliance with the GDPR through appropriate contractual measures. The legal basis for the processing is your consent in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR, provided that you give this via a corresponding checkbox in the form. You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future. Alternatively, processing is carried out as part of pre-contractual measures in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b) GDPR if your request relates to our services.

The data you enter in the contact form will only be used to process your request and will be deleted after completion, provided that there are no statutory retention requirements.

d) Contact for applications:
If you contact us to send us your application as an employee, e.g. by e-mail or via a contact form, the data you provide (e.g. name, e-mail address, desired place of work, etc.), your message and the application documents submitted will be processed exclusively for the purpose of processing and handling your application. The primary legal basis for data processing is § 26 BDSG. Accordingly, the processing of data is permitted if it is necessary in connection with the decision on the establishment of an employment relationship. If the data is required for legal prosecution after completion of the application process, the data may be processed to protect our legitimate interests in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 f) GDPR, namely to assert and/or defend against claims.

e) Contract processing and data management in the context of service provision:
We process various data as part of the provision of our services and to initiate and process the contractual relationship between you and us. If you have commissioned us to provide a service, we process your data (if provided: name, contact details, address) and all information required to fulfill the order exclusively for the purpose of processing and handling the contractual relationship. This includes in particular our corresponding advice and support, correspondence with you, invoicing and the fulfillment of our accounting and tax obligations. The data is processed accordingly on the basis of Art. 6 Para. 1 b) GDPR and to fulfill our legal obligations in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 c) GDPR. Insofar as it is necessary for the execution of the order, your data will be passed on to third parties. This includes in particular the transfer to supervisory authorities for the purpose of correspondence.

f) Use of functional cookies:
We only use technically necessary cookies (so-called session cookies) on our website. These are necessary for our website to function properly - for example, to provide page navigation and form functions. The cookies are automatically deleted at the end of your session. No tracking, analysis or profiling takes place.


4. Duration of data storage
